Our 7th annual Krewe Babalu Ball, Hats Off to the British Isles, was held on January 25, 2002 at the Hotel Galvez. Our coronation was held with the crowning of King Baba IV Jim Harrison and Queen Deborah "Lu" Johnson. Following the Royal Court introductions and processional dance; the party began! Costume winners were Debs Payne (Retro Punk) and Martin Rieck (Scotsman).
